Our May Beer and Folk festival was a great success, the fine weather helped too. There were Morris men and Step Dancers on the Saturday, Johnathan Manby, Theakstons Cooper gave a great demonstration of the craft of wooden barrel making and entertained us in the evening with some hands on games.

Sunday saw the Silurian Morris men performing to a full house as usual, their own special style and audience participation always proves to be a big hit.

The Green Dragon Inn is a quintessential English black and white, low beamed country pub.The pub is a real ale venue and it has been voted Herefordshire CAMRA Country Pub of the Year for 2006 and 2007. Since new owners Simon & Alison Durrant took charge of the 16th century village Inn back in 2005 the transformation has been stunning. With its unspoiled warren of small discrete rooms, each with its own real fire and the centrepiece of a grand inglenook fireplace, this pub now has the quality ales it deserves - and people have been returning to it in their droves.
